Decided to go today for Qualifying. A few showers early on, but turned out ok.. Monday (Race Day) will be packed, especially with the good weather forecast..

Technically, bang on but not sure there's much excitement there.

Don't worry - I do it all the time!

Never been to Oulton, so can't give you any hints about maybe somewhere better to shoot from - perhaps it is one of those circuits with a distinct lack of interesting places?

Nice shots, all very sharp. May look better if the bikes were not in the centre of the pic.

I like them all. The fact that the bikes are centre frame is ok with me. Nice and sharp with good motion blur. You were more adventurous than me by shooting at 1/250th; I kept to between 1/400th - 1/500th as I didn't have the confidence to go slower.

The reason these are centred is these are the first few I photoshop'd and my son wanted them printing off..

My son would love that.. but didn't see any riders when we had a quick look this time.. I'll make more effort in July, Cheers Matt
