Broke Macro

yesterday i was doing my first wedding and had the Sigma 105MM Macro out, to get the ring and so on.

well while shooting in auto focus it went crunch and now the auto focus wont work. it has a rattle, no idea what that is but its there
manual still works great

when i slide the focus ring to manual and leave it switched to auto, it sounds really rough, when both in manual, its nice and clean.

any ideas of what and how it could be fixed?
if costly im sure it will be, im happy with manual for a macro anyway

Probably one of the gears from the motor to the focus ring popped, the rattle will be the broken components loose in the lens.

A repair will probably exceed the value of the lens (not sure what these lens' are worth).
