Broke my sb-900

Hi guys,

I had a little bit of a mishap today which resulted in the IR panel (the red plastic bit) on the front of my SB-900 breaking.

Anybody know where I can get a new one? A link would be great. Ive done a google search but only found one for a sb-800 in america:bonk:.

The plastic cover wont make an difference to the performance/ range of the flashgun. But if you want a replacement for piece of mind then try a Nikon repair agents in the UK there's plenty of them around and should be able to provide you with just the parts.

An example of a local repair agents I use is Lehmans in Stoke-on-Trent. I know they are a Canon specialised repair agents but they do stock lots of Nikon parts too.

Just give them a call on Monday when they are open and see if they can assist you further. or call Nikon directly as they provide parts and delivery charges.
