Urgh, I think my 50mm 1.4 has broken again 
. It is still auto-focussing but it won't focus at anything close range and even when I switch to manual focus it won't let me rotate to anything lower than 1.6m ish (it doesn't jam, it just rotates without moving the pointer).
I noticed it first the other day on a beach walk with the dogs. The dog did knock my camera which I guess could be the cause. That or sand has somehow got in.
Just a bit disappointing and depressing as I know it is high tech equipment and should be handled with care but I still kind of hoped/expected it would stand up to a bit of bump and wear! I can't be the clumsiest camera owner out there?
