Broken aperture ring spring

Hi, during my dads holiday to Berlin last week the spring on the aperture ring broke or fell off, this happened on a Nikkor f/2.8 28-70D lens, this means that everything is overexposed and renders the lens useless for the time being. Does anyone know of a place which could fix this issue ? the lens was bought from Grays of Westminster but it has passed the 1 year warranty which was standard but does anybody know if Grays do lens repair as well ?

You can try Nikon Directly, they might be sympathtic, but Id first go back to Grays and ask. They are well known for great service, so worth a try.
