Hi all,
Last year I dropped my old 430EX and broke the mounting foot. It still works in slave mode but won't work on camera.
The base is simply connected by four little screws and a connector block for the wiring underneath so it's dead easy to replace. I wouldn't mind getting hold of a replacement base unit for it but haven't really got much of a clue where to look. I contacted one company about a repair and they quoted me £149 so I told 'em I wouldn't be bothering.
If the actual internal electronics are buggered, fitting a new foot won't make any difference anyway but I'll still be able to use it as a slave.
Any suggestions as to where I could source the spare part would be gratefully appreciated.
