Broken EOS 600D display screen

she blames herself - I blame easyjet for their daft baggage policy.

Glass now cracked but not shattered - if this goes for repair - what do you think the cost will be?

even though it might be covered by insurance - I think this is out of pocket as it will be a somewhat delicate matter

any pointers appreciated.

If its just the screen cover glass that's cracked I think they are available and an easy DIY fix. They are held in by double sided sticky tape!!

Have a look on YouTube for instructional videos.

If the actual LCD display is broken then it will have to go to be fixed.

Peter, phone or have your work colleague phone Canon @ Elstree and tell that what has happened - they maybe able to give you an idea of repair cost, although they may need to see it to give an estimate?

They will also be able to tell you if you can replace the screen yourself - some were as David says replaceable, but some of the newer versions aren't...
