My dad bought me this nice tripod for Christmas but I think it is not working well and it is getting worst.
At first it was love ;-) the tripod look good and sturdy. But there was a tiny play in the central column. At first I though it was a compromise of having a multi-orientation column but now I think it is getting worst and it is particularly useless to have such a nice tripod if it has some play in it. There is a play in the central column like if the whole part which attach to the leg is wobbly. When the column is extended out you can easily move the end of the rod 1 maybe 2 inches... I have tried to contact vanguard uk warranty to see if they could help but it seems that they're mailing box is full and the mail bounced back.
I can foresee the fun that it is going to be, the tripod was bought on internet in France so it's going to be tricky to have the warranty working. So I guess I will have to post it back to my dad to get him to sort it out and send it back to me which should cost quiet some money in postage...
Anyone has similar issue with this tripod?
