Hi Guys.

I'm new to the forum. I've got fed up with digital and gone back to my Bronica ETRSs. I've even bought some new lenses and so on. My word, they're cheap now compared to what they were.

Anyway, a little problem for you.

I have an ETRS, an AE-II viewfinder and a Motor Drive E. They all work but ....

If I press the shutter release on the motor drive the shutter speed doesn't light up in the view finder. Should it? It does if I press the shutter release on the camera.

Neither the AE-II manual nor the Motor Drive E manual say what should happen.

Any ideas?

Regards,

Brian Thompson.

You haven't left the shutter lock engaged on the grip have you?

Hi Brian ive just tried mine and the shutter speed comes up when the shutter release on the speed grip is pressed .
Try the shutter locking coller in both open positions and if still no joy have the moto rchecked drive .
ps check your battery.
Good luck Bronikon
