Brown Bear - Hunting

While I was living in Alaska I read about taking photo's of Grizzly bears. It said most people taking their photo's that get mauled, get mauled because they get to close. Bear will let you get fairly cloes but at some certain point it will attack! I'd stopped in Canada on a trip up to shoot a Buffalo on the side of the road. It was on the passenger side of the truck and I didn't have the gut's to get to close so shot over the hood. Sure do like getting animal photo's though. One year in Yellowstone Park my mom got out to get a photo of a black bear. She got a bit to close and it came after her. Older brother sitting in the front seat pulled her door shut and threw a snack out the window and it stopped the bear. Probably all it wanted in the first place was a handout!
