just purchased a S/H Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 lens for my D300s hope i will be happy with it !! couldnt afford the Nikkor glas at tyhe mo so will have to make do with this one.

anyone rate this lens ?

I understand it glows a bit more than the Nikon equiavalent wide open, and isn't as fast at focusing, but is crackign value nonetheless!

I'll probably be looking at buying this lens eventually, so i'd be interested in opinions too.
