I've wanted to go to Budapest for a long time. It's part of my travel plans that I have failed to fulfill. I like the sunrise. May we have more shots of this city please? Welcome.

Nice sun rays through the clouds and a wonderful city-scape ... out of curiousity, where were you standing to take this shot?

I managed to get to Budapest just one time, IN WINTER, and it didn't look anywhere near as good as this. Maybe I'll have better luck next time.

It's a super shot. Maybe if you gave the city a little lift in curves it would make a difference. ?. Very nice, all the same.

where were you standing to take this shot?

I was on top of Gellert Hill. Quite a trek to get up there at 4am but certainly worth the effort. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gellért_Hill

I like the city more than the sunrise, strangely. Why not crop off the pale blue sky above the cloud line? Would give both the sky and the city a bit more of an impact, perhaps.

Plenty to look at so I would imagine this looks a lot better larger where you can see the detail of the town etc.
