Hi. I am a total begginer in photography. All i cared about when buying a camera was that it could shoot photos. Now i am looking for a digital camera with shutter and aperture priority modes. I was set on buying the fuji s1000fd from argos for £117 but it's no longer on sale. My max buget is £125. Also need atleast 3x optical zoom and 7MP. Any suggestions? Thanks

a used fuji s9500. s9600 or similar. or check the fujishop for a refurbed . should be within your budget. I think my konica/minolta dimage z10 has a and p modes, with an 8x zoom and 3.2mp.
Used should be about £30. I have taken loads of very good shots with mine, keep it in the car.

i had a konica dimage z before I went SLR and it is an amazing little camera, although not really so little compared to some digital compacts.
