First time Ive had my macro lens outside so tried this out What do you think and how could I make it better

The colours are lovely and warm and your exposure looks pretty good too .It's just a shame that you've lost the top of the twig though...

Thanks Karen It was really windy and I was holding onto the twig to keep it still and trying to take the shot with the other

Been there,tried that Eileen and threw all the shots in the recycle bin

That's the trouble with outdoor photography...too much weather

Love the way the fur on the bursting buds have been lite up, nice warm feeling to the shot.
I can not wait to get my Macro underway in the garden.
