Yes
Bought a new camera Panasonic g10 and wanted to try some night shots but (a) can,t find "b" setting on speeds and (B) don,t know if there is a remote available for shutter release or if the old style bellows release can be used ?

Google turns up several wired remote shutter releases for the G10.. but unfortunately not a copy of the manual to answer your other question on how to find the bulb setting. Just a wild guess, but in manual mode or shutter priority does a "B" symbol light-up if you change the shutter speed all the way to the end?

Tried it in manual but not sure if I,ve gone far enough went to -20 ?
Could,nt find anything in the handbook for bulb but not sure if they would mention it ?

Will check out the remotes on google now , but was wondering if any of my old 135mm ones would work .

I would be very surprised if this wasn't mentioned in the manual, either under "bulb" or "long exposure".

Will have another look through it under long exposure ,thanks.

If I remember rightly you put it in manual mode then just keep adjusting the shutter speed until it reads B, its limited to 4mins max though

If there's the "old fashionned" screw hole in the shutter release button, one (or even all) your old cable/air releases should fit it and work, Or, there are a few gizmos that screw into the tripod bush and adjust so there's a fixing for the releases over the button. By no means are these people the only ones to make or sell such things but here's a link anyway. TBH, if you have access to a 1/2 decent workshop, you could probably run one up yourself.

There is no screw hole so my shutter releases are redundunt on this camera , checked through the speed setting and there does,nt seem to be a actual bulb setting ,as you go down the range it just goes from 1" to 60" , I,m considering a Nikon dslr for Christmas but undecided on model preferablly one with the motor for lens focus in the dslr body rather than the lens ?
