This chap is REALLY flighty so was very pleased to get the image below. Taken with Nikon D7200/300PF/x1.7IITC at iso 500, 1/640th, f9.

Was holding the dog (lead) in one hand and took this with the other ! C&C welcome, as ever.

fat lump with no neck and a dumpy shape - the bird I mean

a bit like the "chavs" that I see walking through the high street

you could try a little pp to reduce the shadows etc., …….. although I know that is how you may have seen it

Sadly I am getting that shape too. Funily enough I read a bit of the Charlie Chan "Walk Softly Strangler" story yesterday and the introductory description of the great Hawaiian/Chines/American detective fitted me too closely for comfort as well !

Anyway, I like the saturated colours in the image above but I agree a bit of additional PPing would bring out some additional detail. Just got into work so may do this later.
