For me, the white background of number one really shows off the bird beautifully, so I'll go with #1.

Lovely set of 3, Derek - I too prefer the colours in #3 ( I think the dark bg helps with colour contrast, and the breast colour is more natural on my monitor).

Nice set, I would agree with the comments about the colours in No.3 but I do like No.1 against the snow.
