I've had my Sigma 10-20mm for a while now but never really done any landscape with it until now.
Both shots straight out of the camera save for cropping and no filters or tripod used.

I've tried to use foreground interest in the absence of leading lines to give a focal point.
Really just starting out with landscapes so any comments or tips on composition or anything that would have improved the shots, such as filters or positioning, is greatly received.
 
Hi, both look OOF, Mike.

For me, thought, there isn't anything of interest (to me). Essentially it's two photographs of rocks with empty skies.

I can see where you were going, but I'd keep an eye out for better/more interesting FG interest, decent skies and nice warm light.
