Busy Bee - Interesting or too fussy?

Does the detail make it interesting or is it just too fussy?
Only really just started macro. Getting detail AND a decent composition is harder than I thought.

My personal feeling is that its swamped by the flower.
I try and get them on lavender ( tips) or on the smaller flowers like Thymus.
But someone may disagree ...
