Hi Sam,

I love this time of year for insect photos (y)
Just waiting to get some free time to go out and get some of my own.

TBH no.1 is really not working for me. Too much blur and nothing in sharp focus. No.2 and No.3 are better though. Especially no.3 - It's really not easy to catch them in flight, so I'm impressed that you managed to catch it at all.
I think both these shots would be hugely improved if you could catch the bee either front or side on though. These type of images have a lot more impact if the eyes are visible.
 
Thanks Sarah, thats really helpful, I was pleased to have caught but they werent really playing ball!!!

I will try to catch them front on next time, hopefully the weather will be better again by the weekend!
 
No3 for me Sam- as said No1 just doesnt work but it just takes practise Oh and nice weather too :LOL:
