I haven't posted on TP for quite a while now as I didn't think most of my photos were really good enough in view of the very high standard here. I have, however, been reading and practicing and feel I have improved (and I'm very critical of my own work) so have decided to stick my head above the parapet and start posting again.
So, here's the first set.
There's a tree/shrub out in the car park at work that attracts large numbers of butterflies and bees. Today I finally remembered to take my camera to work and the sun was out at lunch time so was able to give my new Tamron 18-270 DiII VC lens a try out.
It was a bit breezy so quite a few of the shots were blurred, but here's the best of them. Some are crops, others uncropped.
Only a tiny bit of PP in Aperture - lifting the shadows a little and a touch of USM.
C+C most welcome.

10. No insect life in this one, but I liked the two raindrops on the ends of the leaves.
