evening all sorry I haven't posted for ages I've been away visiting family and working but have managed to fit in a few butterfly trips in:)
I had a wonderful couple of hours high up in the alpine meadows and there were masses of flowers and more butterfly species than I have seen in one place before:)
it was quite windy so really struggled but managed a few nice photos
no idea what this little one is, but its a three shot stack

this one is a silver studded blue funnily enough we get them near to me at home single shot:)

this one is a clouded yellow the first time that I have managed to photograph one

Superb set and good to see some different varieties and species, love the last shot.
 
Great collection, lovely detail and colour in the Silver Blue. Wish I had family in that region.

I think the yellow is a Mountain Clouded Yellow and could the top one be a female Common Blue.

I have never seen a clouded yellow in the UK but living in North Wales I will have to get very lucky
