found it sitting on a clothes peg in my garden, shot on kodak colorplus 200 film, canon 50e, sigma 105mm

then i picked up the peg and held it to the camera at 1:1 and he stayed there, but then flew away after the shutter went off

it was a nice surprise getting it back from the lab; seems nicely exposed and OK focus

Nice timing on the part of this Painted Lady and some lovely detail in the second shot

Fabulous! I'd never be brave enough to use film, I know I'd never get results like this!

Of course you can! don't be afraid of film. An old camera will teach you so much about the fundamentals of photography and film has a character/quality you can't really get with digital
