Buying 5d mk2 from KERSO

Hi guys, has anyone brought a canon 5d mk2 body from kerso, he's selling them at £1599 @ the minute which is the cheapest i can find them? I was looking to buy used but for an extra £200 i may as well go new with the warranty.

No, but I've bought two expensive lenses and a 580 ex2 flashgun from him without any issues at all
 
Not specifically a 5D2 but I got a 1D4 from him and my second 1D4 was also originally supplied by him. Nothing to worry about unless a US plug on the charger bothers you.

Do they come as if you brought from say (jessops) also does he supply the adapter for the plug?

I have used Ian in the past.

The camera comes fully boxed with all the gear you would expect. Sometimes you will receive a box that is for a Camera + Lens kit

Well i think i better order my 5 d mk11 then :D does he supply plug adapter?

I've bought a 7D, 15-85 IS, 17-40L, 100L macro and a set of 12x36 IS binos from kerso without any problems. They all come "as new" although you do tend to get a Spanish and English manual ;)

Yes, the 7D came with an adaptor and they come fully boxed/packaged as if you'd bought from a main dealer.

The only issue could be warranty IMHO, but that is covered as you get issued a UK based invoice. I've not had to use mine for warranty repairs, but I believe people on here have and had the unit fixed by Canon UK.

Yep

When I got the 50D form him the adapter was a nice small black one too so didn't look out of place.
 
Warranty is not an issue. I have bought 1D2n, 1DIV, 17-40, 24-105, 70-200, 300f 4 and 500 f4 from Ian. Oh and my gitzo tripod. The 1D2n and 300 had problems within the warranty period. Canon fixed them no questions asked because Ian gives a UK invoice.

With regards to plug although Ian supplies an adapter the chargers use a figure of 8 plug so if you have other appliances that use a figure of 8 then you can use that instead. My netbook and playstation use them so I have no use for the adapter.

Bought my 7D from Kerso and never had a problem with it although the box was opened and the kit lens taken out, presumably to sell seperately, also supplied with the plug adapter and uk invoice.

Depends if they are in stock. If in stock, he'll ship by next day courier once the money has cleared into his account (if paying by bank transfer).
 
I bought my 5DII from kerso, came in a 5DII + 24-105 kit box (nearly had a heart attack when I first saw it, I thought he might have included a £800 'gift' free of charge, but alas it wasn't in there :D )

Came very quickly with adaptor, uk invoice, the whole lot. Just order it :D
