just wandered what a shutter release cable was and is it suitable for all dslr
want something to get better timing doin water droplets

cable release keep the camera steady from movement when on a tripod,

cable release to me is invaluable, I use one all the time for landscapes/macro/portraits, good for bulb exposures, and water droplets

basically the cable connects to the camera its a shutter button, also they have locks for long exposures

well at the moment im using someones sony a290 but im not sure if it will take one as i cant find any where for it to go

theres something about IR remote but not read the man properly yet, could be page 93

there is a ir so maybe able to get a cheap remote fom amazon

they dont do a wired one for the a290 they only do the wireless, no way gonna pay 200 notes for it i only want it to take the pics i dont need all the controls for playback ect

so gonna look at the heap ones and try that


scrub all the above lol

its only 20ish quid so will get the sony one

Urm they dont do play back it just fires the shutter, you could always use timed release, if your subject isnt moving

yeah the cheap ones dont do play back but the sony one does so will just get that

been reading the manual cause it would be good if you could set the timer to take multiple shots but cant find anything on this so assume its not possible
