Cactus Wireless Flash Triggers

Hi,

I am looking at buying some Cactus Wireless Flash Transceivers v6 and was wondering if anyone has any experience of them, eg build quality, reliability etc.

Any advice much appreciated

I use them across a range of different makes of flashgun with my Olympus EM1. Good build quality, easy to use and good value if you need to control your manual flashes remotely.

I was looking at these recently, they are highly rated by many however for me it was simply cheaper to sell my SB-700 and buy some Yongnuo 560's and 560tx.

I like them, find them well designed and reliable. Their dual TX/Rx means you don't get stymied if a transmitter fails, they're all spares for each other. Plus with the appropriate accessory cable they'll do remote shutter release too.

Hi Mark, Damian lovegrove uses those triggers and flashguns, he really rates them, check out his blog, he speaks highly of them, I think he sells them too

I have also been looking a the cactus v6 but am I right in thinking that there is a Mk2 coming out soon. Is it going to be worth holding out for that ?
