CadWest - 18th August

Hi all.

Slightly frustrating on Cad yesterday with several Eagle pairs turning away from The Bwlch towards Bala, but some nice action all the same.

Nice to meet Andyred, Barry, Rory and the numerous others adorning the hillside.

Cracking shots, liking No 4 & 7

The bug has bitten - managed to get to Kendal today and got 2 passes, before the weather turned, so broke my duck for Kendal as well now

Assuming this isn't a Massive, 9 is a King Air from Cranwell. It replaced the Jetstream as the Multi Engine Training ac.

I think the shots are superb and very sharp.


It was a shame about the lack of activity for most of the day and then after 15:00 it became interesting.

Have you tried to watch a two ship F15 formation flying through the gap using your wing mirrors?....I did

As usual Steve you've produced an excellent set! I have a love/hate relationship with the King Air. It just seems to follow me wherever I shoot aircraft. Doesn't matter which base! It just turns up!!!

Super shots Steve, all of them really sharp. No. 7 for me, the backdrop is fantastic with the Eagle pulling vapour over the wings.
