Calendar Software

Just wondering, could anyone recommend a free program that allows you to enter appointments and when you switch on your PC reminds you of that days bookings?

Try downloading Mozilla Sunbird, its a calendar program from the people that made firefox.

personally, I prefer google calendar but that is because I have it linked to my phone so I get reminders then.

I'm running Vista and Microsoft Calendar does this for you. The email (M'soft Mail) doesn't have a calendar function :razz:

Another vote for Google Calendar here, I get alerts on my phone and through iCal on my Mac.

Thunderbird (the best and open source email app) has lightning plugin. It works a treat and it reads google calendar.

I couldn't recommend google calendar more. It does everything, accessible from everywhere (even iphone), and you can't lose it. Others can see it as well if you allow them.

Try Rainlendar, it's a standalone calendar that sits on your desktop, loads of 'themes' for the look of it. It's customisable, has events, appointments, alarms, you name it and is free.
