Hi all,
I've got a small issue.
I recently purchased a Benq G2420HD flatscreen to use for image editing. After a recent trip I posted a few photos on here to be told that they looked a little dark compared. On my tft they looked great although the did seem dark on my CRT.
I've just purchased and run a Spyder 3 pro on my tft (which because I am running XP has messed up the CRT). It wasn't an easy task because the tft has all these weird presets (movie, photo, general) which alter the look. It still seems to be rather bright though no matter how I set it up and I am wondering if it has anything to do with this Senseye+photo thing it has.
I was hoping if I posted a few images in here that those of you with calibrated monitors could check over it for me to see if it is acceptable. Obviously people edit things differently so I am just wanting to know if its bright enough and the colours are ok?
If so, i'll look at getting a couple printed off for testing.
This is how it came out of the camera, it looks far too dark in lightroom:
This is after editing it in lightroom:
What really confuses me is that the same image looks completely different depending on what I am looking at it with, on camera, lightroom & photoshop (are the same), windows picture viewer, flickr and on here
ARRRGGHHHHH
