Calling all Canon 60D and/or 1000D owners - help needed pls

I'm not sure but I may have got the 230v (UK 3 pin) charger cables mixed up between my canon 1000D and my Canon 60D and I have someone coming to hopefully buy the 1000D tonight :cuckoo: They are the same fit but one has a 5 amp fuse and the other a 3 amp. If you have either of these cameras could you please have a look at the plug on the charger cable and tell me what amp fuse is in it.

Hi Mike, not 100% but I had a 60D and swapped it for a 7D and both of those had the same fuse in the charger, which was a 5Amp fuse. I'd say the 3Amp would go with the 1000D in that case but I don't think it'd be that crucial anyway.

Hi Mike, just looked in the plug of my 1000d charger and it has a 3amp fuse in it.

How's the 60D stack up so far? thats my next upgrade i think.
 
Ah right. I think I'll let it go with the 3amp and put a 3amp in my 60D cable to be on the safe side. Thanks for your help guys.

Steve the 60D is great, but I havn't used it much yet. You can do loads
 
Worked it out in the end. I'd got the lead for the Panasonic camcorder mixed up with the 1000D lead. But I wouldn't have known that if you hadn't let me know that both Canons are 3amp.
