Hi,

I purchased my D700 off this site about 3 months or so back but it never come with a manual.
That's not been an issue as I found most things I needed online.

My issue now is that last week I had a small wedding in a church and from know where my white balance went crazy.
Everything white is now coming out cream and some whites have a hint of blue.
I have not changed any settings, I have looked at all the settings and there does not seem to be any filter of colour level set at all.
I'm now going stir crazy as I can't seem to resolve this.

Thank god for my back up camera.

Hope someone can help with this

It sounds like the awb getting confused. Should be a one click fix in post
 
Is the white balance only went crazy in the church? but ok else where?

Hope you shooting RAW so you can correct this if it went all wrong.
 
Yes only shoot in raw.... Yes this also happened outside the church, that's where I was getting the blue.

Have you accidentally fixed a wb in camera, rather then using awb then? Daylight is much colder then most artificial light and that would explain the blue
 
Yes of course. I am on the road at the moment do will do once in.

Dug out the worst photo it happened on, its a test shot.

This is the sort of thing its doing.

If you know an option to stop this, id be happy to hear it :bonk:

From the exif you've set a manual WB which is way off . If you've the RAW you should be able to fix this in post processing very easily

you still having the problem? I usually factory reset my camera on the settings when i dunno what i adjust to cause the problem.

Maybe a bit pain to readjust everything but thats the last resort i guess.

thats odd then - the exif says manual WB for sure. If you have the RAW its a 2 second change. If you're using LR just use the WB control dropper to set a WB of the back of the guys collar
