calling Photocrati users

Hi i have seen a few sites that have been made with a Photocrati theme.

I now have this software installed with wordpress but can't seem to get my home page correct. For example the picture is not centre but more still in a blog format with a scroll bar.

Can any one help me with main homepage layout.

Can you post a link please so we can see?

From your very brief description it sounds like you've set the gallery up on the homepage as a blog style gallery which may be where you're going wrong. Recreate it in the right style and it may solve the issues
 
Hi Dan,

Not sure quiet what the issue is, I'm not seeing scroll bars on the pcis on either my Mac or my Mrs's laptop, maybe its a browser issue?
 
I suspect the gigantic PNG file with your logo on it is causing the scrollbars to appear (1754x1240 pixels!)

thats very new though - it wasn't there when Dan posted, but I agree that is a big issue
 
No scroll bars on the pictures & none on my iPhone either although scroll bars to view the whole page on mine and yours.
 
Yep- pretty normal with any site that's bigger then the users display. The thing to remember with photocrati is it's 960 pals wide - if you go wider you will get issues regardless of end user.

I'm afraid I paid for my logo - life's to short to do my own, so once I'd settled on theme options I got the designers to match colours. They gave it me as png and jpg files so I canresize and use as a transparency

Can't help with the layout issue but you might like to check the spelling of "capture" on the homepage mate :-)

The other thing is the photocrati shopping cart ain't great. To get rid, delete the page but leave it in the trash, else the theme will re create it
