LOL, yes but I'm looking for experience of conversions and which plates and backs? Costs vs performance etc

Doubt there will be many people who can afford the cost, I'm sure there are studios shooting 5x4 digital but for most people it's not cost effective, or needed.

Aston Martin, for example, shoot their cars on Pentax mf.

Yes, if I did it I'd only get the plate and hire the back when needed. As it stands the output from the D3 for the archive work this is for appears to prove the client with enough detail for their use. It's just that the almost infinite setup of the Cambo would be great.
