Waiting to collect someone yesterday I thought it was the perfect time to play with my new phone's camera. All shot in RAW with a Google Pixel 7a and edited on the PC.

Light years ahead of any of my previous phones. Still has a lot of limitations compared to a DSLR but I think they have vastly improved the dynamic range for such a tiny sensor.
I hadn't noticed the halos I have to say. They are not very evident on the original RAW files so I think is down to my editing/ resize and sharpen before posting.
