So you know if you've read my previous thread, ive broken my camera.
Im going on holiday on the 23rd of jan and im not sure if its going to be fixed by then. I have a compact camera I can take with me for photos, but i really wanted to get some videos of me snowboarding. I also have a couple of other things i was going to use my 500d to film. So now im looking for a camcorder, i've seen loads on the internet, im looking for one thats small, and has an internal hard drive or internal flash memory. Not wanting to spend more than £200 but less if possible.
Does anyone have or have used one that they would reccomend as there seems to be so many and i cant tell the difference! :help:
I've highlighted the Panasonic SDR-S26 as a possibility or the JVC GZ-MG335 as a slightly more expensive option, if anyone has any experience of these?
Thanks in advance
Pete

I have used one similiar to the JVC one which was HD...

Was very impressed with the footage...

Only thing, you will need a few sd cards when in HD mode....

jvc now do one which stores data on SD card..takes two cards

my apologies...i do have the habit of being out to lunch

when i saw this camcorder i thought what a breakthrough in storage...
we use sony and use tapes...dv tapes
they are good for fidelity in editing

I would suggest is probably going to some sites like currys, comet, or wherever else you wish and seeing exactly which models are within your budget.

Then just go to youtube or Vimeo and type in each make & model to see sample footage shot with each camera (make sure you're watching HD footage if it's a HD camera).
