Slightly off topic, I know, but can anyone recommend a repair shop for a Sony HDV (tape) camcorder (this is the consumer type handheld)? LCD panel not working (defective ribbon cable)?
Sony have authorized repair centres that do a fixed price repair for a fixed price. I've priced out the parts, and could do it cheaper myself, but don't midn paying a reasonable cost to have someone do it. Just want to try and get it done at lower cost than 'Sony' as its only a backup camcorder.
