Couldn't think of a more appropriate title, but has anyone got this? Over the many models you've had, always one or 2 that really stick with you?
Mines the first Digitial camera I had - Nikon D50. Managed to get one the other day and it's great. Stuck the 85mm in it and soo chuffed. The other one would be my Sony Cyber-Shot P200. Was the forts digital camera in the family - my grans. From when she first showed it me, I wanted one - and at time digital was way beyond out reach. Got one a month or so ago for a song (£34 tbp) in as new condition. Carl Zeiss glass, manual mode, dead fast, gorgeous design, what more could you want?

Anyone else, or am I just up to late revising? ;)
 
i borrowed a camera a few years ago for a few trips abroad from a friend & it was the camera that got me interested in photography again after a long break.
even now going back looking through the pics (all just "snaps" in auto mode :lol:) i can't help but like them. more often than not the focus was sharp & the colours are great :love:
it was a Panasonic Lumix LC-1. the sister camera to the Leica digilux2
loveley sharp vario summicron f/2 lens in a 28-90mm equivalent range :love:

oh. nearly forgot to mention the classic rangefiner looks :love:

he did offer it to me cheap a while back but i'd just had a very expensive month & stupidly didn't snap his arm off as he'd sold it for over twice as much only a couple of days later :bang:

i'd love to get another one :naughty:

Oooh the DigiLux 2 is on my dream list - they don't do a comparable one nowadays for the price at all. It's built like an M isn; it?
 
The D200 has a special place in my heart, as its the camera that really progressed my photography.
 
My OM2. I don't use it much any more, but I can't bear to part with it as everytime I do it just feels so good to shoot with!
 
I've had some lovely cameras over the years but one does stand out. My Mamiya RB67 ProSD - I loved that camera, it was such a joy to use.
 
Zenit E for me, my first SLR (and many other people's as well I expect) - taught me everything I needed to know about getting exposure right.
 
I loved my P200 absolutely loved it, could take great pictures and it was so small and nice to use. I should have never sold it really....

Having said that if there is one camera that I still want Nikon to re-incarnate that is the F70... It was for me the best camera I have ever had. I loved the square chunky grip, loved the menu on the top love the sound and the feel of the materials. If only Nikon ever dared again.
 
So many happy memories. OM2SP, Rolleiflex 2.8F, Rollei 35, and my M3 - still got it :love:
I always lusted over a Nikon F2 with a Photomic head, never got there though.

zenit e taught me all about exposure etc, preset aperture etc and totally manual.

My T90 was special (but I always like the clunky A1)

Today my D90 is great as it's an do anything great bit of kit that I get great results from.

The one I wouldnt part with is my Fuji S5 pro, it's still pretty much unmatched in dynamic range and colour rendition, and has that clunky feel just like my A1 had. These come up for sale on here now and again yet they dont seem to sell, really dont understand why!
