Camera bag suggestions

I'm looking for a shoulder bag/backpack
I want to wear it as a shoulder bag while walking around for easy access to gear and lens swapping, the catch is I ride a motorcycle so it needs to be a backpack while riding.
It will need to hold an a700 with 28-70mm 2.8 /70-200mm 2.8/ 105mm 2.8/ 50mm 1.7/ 2x tc and a 58am flash, plus the other usual bits.
a laptop pocket would be a plus but not a deal breaker.

Right now I use a fastpack 250 but can't fit it all in and find difficult to work out of, before that a computrekker which held everything but meant stopping to take the bag off put it on the ground bla bla bla.

I guess the ideal bag would be a tardis like belt pack, but thats not coming anytime soon so here's hoping for some suggestions.
 
Tamrac do a modular belt system I think, or they do some larger backpacks (the expedition series) but that still means taking the pack off to get at your kit.

Hello and welcome Heliguy

Like many photographers I have several camera bags and I use different bags for different jobs/situations. For a comfortable backpack style bag with easy access to the gear, my Lowepro Flipside 300 takes some beating. In addition to the shoulder straps it has a waist belt which allows you to quickly swivel the bag round and get access to the gear through the rear of the bag and without having to put the bag down. You would not get a laptop in there, but its fine for a body and 4 lenses plus bits. There is a 200 version, but I think you would find that too small. The 300 has recently been on sale at a much reduced price, so if you’re interested then shop around.

Sam how do you find the flipside in use, can you do all you need to do without taking it off?
it looks awkward is that just the guy on youtube?

Yes you can access all of the kit without taking it off and you can change a lens safely as the bag is laying out horizontal. For added ease of use you can squat down so that the bag rests on your knees, but it’s not essential. It is actually quite easy to swivel it around and get to the gear. However if you are wearing layers of loose clothing underneath then that has a tendency to twist around as well. Having said that it is quicker, easier and safer than a conventional bag that you have to take off and lay on the ground. Although the latest 400 holds a bit more gear I wonder if the extra equipment weight might make it a bit less easy to manage.

has anyone got the redsnapper sy517 it looks perfect but would it hold my gear
