Camera carrying system

I had a look, well one video was working BUT that guy was enough to put me off anything like that NO thank you
I had to laugh; “put Vaseline on it and keep it clean” ??? Any grease like stuff with allow grit to stick and cause wear
I keep my two long neoprene straps, work a treat thank you
 
Looks a bit cumbersome to me - maybe at a Sporting event, where you have to dress like idiots in day-glo tabards anyway, but for general work?

Bung a couple of carabiners onto your rucksack shoulder straps and loop the camera straps through them...then you have hands-free capability without looking like you're wearing something from Starship Troopers...
 
I like the belt holster, but the main 'vest' system is not my cup of tea at all.
 
I'd be too scared to use my camera without my neckstrap :S Though i'm prone to "butter fingers" :(
 
I prefer my camera carrying system my Mother-In-Law! ok she may be 84 yrs old but still strong as an Ox! LoL
Ps won't catch me smearing vaseline on anything! LoL
 
I'm not keen on that at all, looks a little bulky. I imagine it would get a bit heavy after a bit
 
Still use my Viper vest when crawling around woods,moors and riverbanks.Yet to see anything better.

Double R-strap is good as well though.
 
I quite like the idea of it, though the guy in the video didn't exactly sell it did he?

The Spider holster looks a bit wobbley to me, didn't like to see the camera banging onto his leg.

My only concern with the cotton carrier would be how easy would it be for someone to snatch the camera and run, I don't care what a plank I look like, I just want my equipment to be safe.
