"Camera" cover , not lens

New here and relatively new to slr photography .
I was wondering please where to buy the protection cover for my camera Nikon d5300 and indeed what is the name for this cover!! ( for when no lens is fitted )

It's called a body cap, did your camera not come wth one? If it's a replacement one you're looking for, Ebay is probably as good a place to start as any.

i suggest you search for ''genuine Nikon body cap ' on eBay

I picked up some generic cheapos long ago - all were a poor locking fit

Could the OP actually be asking about a half case cover?

He said 'for when no lens is fitted' which suggests a body cap. Or as I call it, the kit lens.

(But seriously, if I remember correctly my old D3100 just came with white push-on caps rather than proper bayonet fitting caps).
