Sorry, it wasn't meant to sound terse ...hence the link to the search.

There's a lot of useful info on those threads and more warnings than you can shake a stick at.

To cap it all Bob your link does not work

Though as Bob said best use the search tool first and see if you can find an answer there, then again It helps bump up my post count

I got quotes from 5 companies and eventually settled on Towergate. They put together a bespoke policy that suited my needs for avery reasonable price.

Must give a +1 for Towergate and their Camerasure Policy.
Not the cheapest ( but not the most expensive either). They also understand Photography insurance so get good cover, without the exclusions.

I found camera insurers were very expensive. I had mine included in my house contents insurance for a lot less.I am still covered in my car and in Europe. Worldwide is extra.
