camera issue??

hey im over in cyprus at the moment and for some reason my camera has decided not to work properly,


the selection wheel that lets me chose the shutter speed/aperture and other such settings is not working, never had any issues with it before.


and the cameras just run out of its years warranty

any idea why its done this?

could it be the sun?

Try default reset you may have disabled the wheel some how by mistake

I dont know Nikons so cant help, maybe something like reset recent changes

hey simon have done that, reset everything on my camera that set reset on it

You can also try a full hard reset,if still not working back to factory setting.

give this a try "Nikon SLR, there are 2 ways: First: Click on Menu -> Shooting (camera icon) -> and select Reset Shooting Menu Click on Menu -> Custom Setting (pencil icon) -> select the Reset Custom Menu or by: If you hold down the • MENU and • INFO buttons at the same time for a few seconds, you can quickly reset your D5100 to its basic settings.

wheel still not working have tried both of those ways going to go into paphos and see if i can find a camera shop of some sort that might be able to help
