Camera or Lens?

Hi, My quandary is this. I own two Cameras, Canon 1DS MK II (FF) and a Canon 600D (1.6 crop)
I want to do some interior photography.
The 1DS is a heavy camera but I love it,very robust and weather proof one of the best Canon ever made IMO. The 600D again IMO takes some lovely shots and is light to carry but not as robust as the 1DS.
I own the 17-40mm Canon lens but on the 600D it's approx 28mm
I want to reduce the weight of my gear so should I (1) Sell the 1DS and buy maybe a 5d Mk II and work with the 17-40mm as FF or (2) buy a Canon 10-22mm, Sigma 8 mm - 16 mm, Sigma 10-20mm etc etc for the 600D?

What other things do you like to photograph?
Have you used the 600D to take any indoor images and what were your impressions on its performance?
Is the 17-40mm f4 your fastest lens?

Hi, Thanks for reply.
Budget? £500 to £700 + the 600D if I go down that road for FF.
My main hobby is the outdoors Land/Seascapes but this is only a small island so the options kind of run short after a while as far as outdoor scenes go that is why I am trying to find another subject.
600D is an excellent camera IMO the problem is like all pro sumer is the sensor size ie 17mm becomes 28mm to large for interiors but a 10-22mm or 10-20mm would give the 600D 16mm angle.
17-40 mm for W/A is my fastest lens.

Thought this link might help. It's a subject I've not photographed. As for your choices, personally I would look at full frame but also the lenses and a tripod. You would achieve better results with a faster lens than your current f4, so I would keep the 1Ds and look at a lens upgrade.
