Hi guys
I didn't want to mess about trying this without asking.
My photos get saved to a default location on my memory card which the camera wanted to call D5100. I guess this can be changed to whatever title I want. So after several shots, I want to shoot in another city. Can I change the output folder again & again, so that when I get back to the computer and move all the files over, they are all conveniently stored in folders called Leeds, York, Wake etc.. Or has everthing got to be stored in one single folder on the camera called D5100 (or choosen name)?

Thanks for helping :)

Take a look at the PDF instruction booklet that came with the D5100, i was reading through it and came across something on this, im pretty sure i read correctly that you can store in different folders and it shows you the step by step way to do it in-camera.

Thanks Gareth, I'll take a look and see if I can spot it :)

Update :)
Yep, found the details on pg 152 of the pdf. You can do a couple of things, create folders up to 5 charactors long or rename folders.
