Camera Problem?

Hi, I hope this is not a silly question and hope there is nothing wrong with my camera.
I have a Sigma SA-7 and I did'nt use for around 6 months as I got a little digital camera, but with the weather being so nice I got my film camera back out, but now when I look through the eye piece there is a pinky purple haze at the bottom. It dosent appear to effect the photos taken but I would like to know what is causing it.
My camera was stored in it's case and not left in the sun. But a role of film was left in , could that be the cause.
i only take photos for fun, and know practically nothing about cameras so please be gentle with any replies.

Never heard of that before ,and I take it with the amount of replies neither has anyone else
Dye from lining of camera case hasn't got on the eyepiece has it.
Give it a gentle wipe.
But get some film through it and enjoy.

Could be fungus, fluff or something like that. It will be in the eyepiece to prism section if it does not appear in pictures. Should not be too difficult to clean it out but would obviously need dismantling.
