Anyone recommend a place in Orlando to purchase Canon equipment, specifically a 70-200 F4L?

Ritz Camera have a shop in Florida mall, best checking they have what your wanting in stock before going as the shops don't all stock the stuff their website says they sell.
Futuretronics have a shop in Mall at Millenia, aimed at the consumer really, I tried to get a XXD from them in 2007 but they didn't have any in neither did Ritz so not a good example.
Wolf Camera & Video have a shop at Belz outlet mall at the top of I-drive, never been to their shop but other outlet camera shops I have been to seem to have odds and ends when it comes to kit, possibly returns or trade-in's
Harmon Photo are in North Orlando up the I4 possibly your best shot and their prices seem reasonable
I found in September that very few shops had any of the higher end kit in stock unless you go to a camera shop such as Samy's or Calumet. Bestbuy and frys electronics were poor only having consumer lenses, even the electronics shops like in new york that are on I-drive or at old town had the boxes but no stock but we know they work on the lines of get you in and sell you anything they have and keep you in as long as they can till you buy somthing just anything.
Maybe look at buying in advanced and getting it delivered to your hotel or villa property management from B&H it will probably be cheaper as well.
Stick to proper camera shops, the problem is there are not that many about down that way.

I was thinking about getting one ordered from b&h and getting it delivered but i wasn't sure whether this was a good idea. I might e-mail the hotel and ask them if they would be ok with that. Thanks guys.

I have had stuff delivered to hotels in the past no problem in Florida, New York and Las Vegas. Just phone the hotel and make sure its ok first and then place the order so that it gets delivered a few days before you arrive Some times it is good to get the name of the hotel manager and get it sent to your name but for the care of him or her so that they receive the parcel and know what the score is. Just drop the guy $10 and they will be happy.
