Was in the London this week and took the chance to drop into a camera store I had seen on the web. Not a big store but had a good selection of cameras and lenses both new and second hand. Have to say I found the guy serving really helpful but also I felt trust worthy. For once a really good sales experience, not necessarily like some of the group retailers. No pushy sales, but just straight forward advice clearly from some knowledgeable personal experience. Sadly lacking generally i think outside of London (do people agree?) Bought a second hand Canon 100mm macro in mint nick at a great price with 6 months guarantee. Would definitely revisit. Not mentioned name of outlet as not sure allowed on forum ??
 
The Guys in my Local LCE,Jessops and the small independant shop are all great, been in multiple times and had a good chat with them all. Which is weird, because when a 15 year old walks into a shop filled with expensive toys, i normally get shunned out.
