I have a sony a390 when I look through the eye piece instead off the screen on the screen on the back i see the corners of a square i guess its there to level the picture , to tell me if the picture i am takeing is square . But the object i am looking at is square level and the camera body is level but when I look through the eyepice its not. Is the camera off what can i do!?

Do the steady shot bars (bottom right corner in most Sony viewfinders) flash constantly? If so, you've broken your steady shot. This is the most common cause of apparent VF alignment issues.

If the steadyshot is broken . Is it a manafacture problem or did i do it somehow? Is it in the camera or the lens . Do you know?

As billybob says, it's in the body. It's the mechanism that supports and moves the sensor to compensate for camera shake.

The usual cause of failure is a drop or knock.

Its had a small knock . Otherwise it seems ok .
I maybe getting another sony newer more updated or nikon also looking at Canon EOS .
