Hi, and a happy new year.
Has anyone got a smart way of avoiding the annoying trend of the camera slipping on the tripod mount what rotating to portrait. What I have had happen a few times is the the weight of the camera body and lens causing the whole issue to droop when the tripod head is moved in orientation; the tripod mount has the usual spring mounted locating peg, unfortunately the canon body has no socket for it. I like most others are careful when mounting equipment and do not over tighten or stress any screws or fixings, this is the only time you seem to have to apply the extra little twist to keep thing together.
