Camera strap buddy

Anyone used one of these - Camera Strap Buddy?

I'm not so sure, most of the handgrips have a similar fitment built in, I had one on my D300/MB-D10 and it allowed the camera to hang much more comfortably, especially with the 70-200 on it.

I agree to an extent, but consider the process:

By gadget and attach to standard neck strap....£10
Find strap isn't long enough, buy Optech Classic £20
Buy Hand strap as upgrade £20

In the end settle for Black Rapid/ Sun Sniper for £50

Just to bump this, was wondering if anyone had any good/bad opinions on this? I want a strap that I can easily transfer between multiple cameras, initially I was just going to buy a conventional neoprene strap but then I saw this on 7dayshop as well. There seems to be a lack of genuine reviews/opinions on the internet from a quick Google, hoping someone here might've had some experience with one?

In my case I fitted a £4 handstrap to an Optech Pro, total cost £20......





Then took it off and fitted a Black Rapid

Don't know how I didn't manage to see this - not much of an invention then, a screw that goes into a standard tripod mount with a space for a strap to thread through at the end... thanks for pointing it out.

I'm thinking of getting a Hama Comfort 35 strap instead then...
